....and we're off!

and by off I mean "sat in a train station waiting room"

So, I’m not sure how often I’m going to update this, or when I do update it what it is I’m actually going to update it with. Or even why (in a general sense). I suppose this is mostly a way of journalling things to remember, tips to pass on, and a handy way of reassuring everyone we’re still alive.

Anyway: ten countries, two months, starting today. We’re currently sat in St Pancras waiting for our train into Paris. So far Kid A has been stung by a wasp 5 minutes after getting on our first train; Kid B keeps saying hello to people who then assume we know them and start talking to me in that awkward “don’t want to be rude, hopefully I’ll remember who they are in a minute” manner the British have; and Kid C has asked me to call her grandfather to come pick her up.
